I've always enjoyed the beach and it is always my favorite spot for vacation and relaxation. Growing up in Alabama, the sand and shores of Gulf Shores were a favorite spot to spend my free time with friends and family. With the earning of a driver’s license, my beachcombing expanded to the shores of the Emerald Coast. I always knew that one day I would call the emerald green water, sugar sand beaches and casual attitude of Destin my home. Destin was the scene of my first date with my husband of 15 years. In addition, my husband proposed to me at the Marina Café (in its former location). We’ve spent many vacations and holidays over the years in Destin. Several career moves took us from Alabama to Baton Rouge to Houston. We moved our business and made Destin our permanent home in 2004. I am a native of Spanish Fort, Alabama. I graduated with an accounting degree from the University of South Alabama in 1986 spending over 15 years in private accounting. I earned my realtor license in 2005. I live with my husband, Rick, and two rescued Golden Retrievers, Gracie and Brinkley, in the gated community of Destiny on Scenic 98 in Destin.
